Donese Mayfield enhances our evening with a program of live folk harp music. Donese has been a professional musician for many years. Classically trained on piano and organ, she discovered the Celtic harp at the age of 42.

Donese has been an active church musician playing in Presbyterian, Lutheran, Episcopal, Methodist, Unitarian, and Catholic churches, and Jewish Synagogues. She is a staff musician at the University of New Mexico Alumni Chapel, which is host to several hundred weddings each year.

Donese performs solo or in ensemble on the Celtic harp and pedal harp at public and private events. Her musical experience includes the release of two CDs with the ensemble Sweet Breeze; recording as a studio musician with several groups; and conducting folk harp workshops across the Southwest.
