The success of building your brand via social media depends on people stealing your stuff! “Any brand hoping to spread their message across the Web needs to think like a media company. That is, to create campaigns that are so compelling and so interesting that people treat them as ‘social objects,’ essentially trading them as both online and offline conversation pieces. When a brand’s campaign, or message, reaches the level of social object, it means people are sharing it with their friends, they’re using it as a status symbol to show people how hip and in touch they are.
