In late 2009, NMAMA President Kim Jarigese and the NMAMA Board of Directors decided to follow up on the great work accomplished by the new logo design, completed in Spring 2009 under the leadership of then-President James Martinez, owner of FastSigns on the Two. The logo and color palette, developed by Tangerine Cafe and approved through a committee of board and NMAMA members, achieved a milestone in the branding for NMAMA.
The next step was to bring the website into alignment with these efforts. Sharon Steely, an NMAMA member who fielded the invitation emails for the NMAMA events, took on the project. Sharon says her focus was to create something fresh and exciting, to have the latest news from NMAMA always at the forefront of the site, and to show what a great resource and organization the NMAMA truly is.
The new site has incorporated social media features, and the next steps include implementation and involvement from the board, members, and community.
The new site was launched on February 1, 2010.
