New Mexico AMA Board is a team of dedicated and enthusiastic marketing professionals who work toward promoting the field of marketing in the community.
Allyne’s professional experience as a marketer spans over 30 years with a focus on creating impactful marketing solutions and brand awareness through various advertising media. As a manager, she leads a team in delivering amazing customer experience and award-winning campaigns on national and international levels. She continues to develop meaningful partnerships, and has served the community on several non-profit committees and boards.
After a teaching career at two universities in New Orleans, LA, Gabe pivoted to the marketing and communications world where he has held several leadership positions in academia and the arts. He is an award-winning author, consultant to businesses on content development and digital marketing strategies, and freelance editor and writer.
Jerry brings 25+ years in advertising and marketing with experience in the agency, media and client environments. He’s a seasoned storyteller who uses the right words, images, video, and experiences to tell brand stories to the right audience regardless of platform.
Charlotte Koppin brings skills as a business owner and IT expert to the NMAMA, where she develops and maintains processes to streamline and manage the chapter's digital assets, Website and IT infrastructure.
Sammie serves her client's accounting/bookkeeping efforts with her team at Checks & Balances for You. With a background in client service, sales and contract management spanning over 30 years, her focus is on utilizing a holistic approach to best serve business owners, families and individuals in staying on track with their financial obligations and goals.
Debra brings 20+ years of financial experience to NMAMA. She manages NMAMA financial accounts and reporting AMA international HQ and provides fiduciary compliance to the organization. The Treasurer has a watchdog role over all aspects of financial management, working closely with other members of the Management Committee to safeguard the organization's finances.
This role is responsible for addressing the needs of chapter membership, including service delivery, recruiting, and retaining members in accordance with chapter by-laws and policies. The role is also responsible for addressing the needs of volunteers, including recruitment, retention, recognition, and leadership development training and support in accordance with chapter by-laws and policies.
The VP Programming will direct and coordinate the activities of the Programming Committee, and keep the Board of Directors informed of progress on all programming efforts.
NMAMA VP Sponsorship develops and manages mutually beneficial sponsorship opportunities with partner organizations.

Erika Woldman Hecht-

Diane Villegas is the owner of Big Picture Marketing Strategies, a marketing consulting agency that assists businesses in creating effective and strategic marketing plans – which includes everything from strategy, campaign development, media buying, corporate communications, social media, and customer retention. Diane has held leadership positions with Comcast as Southwest Regional Director of Marketing and at the REELZ Channel as Vice-President of Affiliate Marketing. Diane holds an MBA from the University of New Mexico and in 2014, she was selected as an honoree of Albuquerque Business First’s “Top 40 Under 40 Award.”
A storyteller, strategist and skilled wrangler of unwieldy things, Staci claims 20-plus years of marketing and advertising experience on her CV. Her professional background spans everything from bookselling and B2B to copywriting and client advocacy, working with global enterprises on the Fortune 50 as well as small agencies with fewer than 15 employees. She’s most passionate about messaging and content strategy, communications planning and brand management.
Riann Martinez brings 20 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, and community relations to the NMAMA. Her focus is to develop compelling, topical, and engaging programs for the organization and its membership.
Amanda Evrard is a communications professional with more than 10 years of experience, and the President and Founder of JTE Communications in Santa Fe. Her areas of expertise include digital and nonprofit marketing. She earned a Bachelor’s in Public Relations at University of Oregon, and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management at Our Lady of the Lake University. Amanda is an animal lover and enjoys volunteering at Santa Fe Animal Shelter.
NMAMA is always on the lookout for motivated individuals who would like to contribute time and expertise to the marketing community. As a 501(c)3 non-profit and volunteer run organization with the mission to connect, support and empower through education and professional development, volunteering is a great way to get involved.
